you forget the 3rd option of meh.
Mr Salmond and his disciples wish those north of the wall to believe it is...
Don't ask me why (gut feeling) but the uk would be better off leaving the EU but Scotland would be better off being part of the uk.
Not sure if those living in Scotland will be allowed to vote on that if they managed to become iscot. And meanwhile if Scotland prefers to stay in the EU?

I actually agree with Phil... Never thought I'd see the day!
To me it is interesting to know how those outside of Scotland in the UK feel about it, as it does effect us.
I appreciate that it doesn't actually influence the result, as so many have been so kind as to point out that little piece of the obvious. It's still quite interesting.
My opinion, I hope they don't go. A bigger UK is a better UK IMO.
It's one of these uncertainties that BT tend not to go on that much about. In the event of a NO vote - Scotland will not have much say in the matter in a UK IN/OUT EU referendum - it will be tied to the decision rest of UK makes.
This is rather tiresome. IF scotland votes no and IF the tories get back in and IF they negotiate a new deal with the EU there will be an in/out referendum. And IF that all happens every voter in Scotland will get to vote on it anyway..... So, again, not giving two hoots.
Fair enough - though I don't see why it's tiresome. IN/OUT the EU is surely an issue that some Scots might see as important as in a UK referendum Scots votes may not hold too much sway. Whatever - I don't have a view as I don't live in Scotland and so can't really say how I'd feel if I did.

Sorry forgot your the only one speaking for Scotland and others shouldn't post anything you don't agree with. Not wishing to upset you or your friend.Quick fix for you
[nearly but not quite!!!]
It's tiresome because it's trying too hard to second guess what the future might bring in the event of a no vote. The same applies the other way with some of the doomsday scenarios that are being flagged up in the event of a yes.
Whichever way we vote, life will go on and uncertainties will resolve themselves one way or the other much as they always do.
Spot on - and yet BT demand certainty from YES and heap criticism when little is forthcoming. However I sense that the effect of that demand is wearing thin.
