Do You Say 'Driver' or 'A Driver'

I have played with a few people like that, obsessed with hitting less club than everyone else.

Think it's a macho thing:mad:
It wouldn't be too bad but my 3w is usually about 10yrd behind his driver,& I'm far from being a big hitter.
 
I joined in really to discuss and hopefully correct some of the utter tripe that is being spewed forth by the yes campaigners in the referendum thread.

inbetween laughing at their blind faith I spotted this interesting thread on golf.

As a 'pretty good' golfer of over 10 years I'm having trouble understanding the point of this 'discussion'. Apart from answering a fellow player during a friendly game I dont think I have, nor ever heard of, anyone 'announcing' their chosen weapon.

very strange practice indeed unless you are an attention seeker, or American.

after the referendum I might come back but it will depend if all the topics are as riveting as this one.

Well as you can see in this thread this is the forum that is not afraid to tackle the big issues in golf at the moment....;)
