Do you ever buy clubs without trying them?

You must have an aladdins cave of golf clubs . . .I have bought without trying many times. Some good results, some bad !!

Sorry ive sold 4. Forgot about a nike 3 wood. Wish I still had that too! Plenty of old tat. Its more like a museum of golf clubs split between here and back home. My dad still has the old clubs he started with along with the others he picked up along the way.

There is even an old iron in there that is stamped 1, then stamped 2 even more over the top of it. Clubs have come along way from those days. Rory Mcilroy couldn't hit this thing. Its an abosolute weapon! Ill take some photos when I am home!

Yep, had more success with blind buying than custom fitting.

I'm a bit of a tinkerer and love trying new kit, probably bought and sold a dozen or so items over the last couple of years.

Can't beat ebay for trying someone else's cast off's, all for the price of postage.

A recent example is when i had an itch to scratch over the AP2 712 with S300 shafts. Bought a mint condition set from a pro on ebay £350 + £15 delivery. Tried them for 3months over the summer but decided they were not for me. Sold them for £320 + £15 delivery.

Tinkering with Hybrids at the mo, which reminds me. I need to offload 710H, G20 and Burner2.0 to try out some 3woods:D
