Do umbrellas work well on a trolley or do they end up being a pain?

Still slightly related. One of the best buys you can make in the wet is some rain gloves. Macwets are the market leader but I have some Mizuno ones which work brilliantly as well. At that point you no longer need to even worry about keeping a towel dry, your clubs dry etc. Let the rain do its worst, you are fully prepared.

I used to hate wearing jackets and waterproofs but since I started wearing glasses I moved to a hat which can be hard to get used to. An umbrella is fantastic as well, with the fine rain I Don’t need a waterproof jacket and just step out from under the umbrella for my shots.

Another thing with brollies is you get wet mostly handling the thing up and down.
It’s easier without it.
Except monsoon rain like today here.

I have a well used "Volvo" brolly that has clear segments that are a boon when its fixed to the trolley. Thankfully it is quite robust so has lasted well - not seen any similar designs so it is well cared for. (y)(y)
