repeatable swing at last! A bit of a breakthrough for me as it seems to have just clicked in my brain and in place.

I read somewhere quite a while ago about swinging inside the barrel. And with that thought in my mind seem to be able to repeat a decent swing without too much unnecessary movement and falling off the shot.
Over the last few rounds my driving consistency has never been so good, and ok I know it may not last, you might say, but I feel so much more comfortable over the ball and am confident of getting a decent strike away, every time

Been caught out saying I'm hitting magnificently well only to play in a comp like a knob to paraphrase Smiffy. Mind you lets just say I've been cautiously pleased with my chipping and ball striking at the range this week. 36 holes of medal tomorrow so that should sort the men from the boys! I'd love a reasonable showing - nothing fancy - nett 73 or 74 (+3 or +4) both times would do me. I'm just praying its not a mockery with somethinglike a nett 80. Nothing worse then than knowing you have to go out again (and I will regardless)
