After the last couple of rounds I've had a pain in the base of my right heel, eases off over a couple of days but is back immediately after the next round .

Anyone had this and know what causes it or has a remedy.

Not overly confident a GP visit will be of much use.

Ta.

It's quite possiby plantar fasciitis. Make sure that you have good insoles with arch support. Have you changed shoes recently?

Heel pain can be Achilles tendonitis/ tendonosis or just general tendonitis.

Only a physician can give you a definite diagnosis.

A referral to physiotherapy will give you the correct strengthening exercises.

Sounds like Plantar Fasciitis, I suffer with and is quite painful. I’ve recently bought insoles from Norelie . Been very impressed so far.

Very probably. I suffered from it last year. Stuck a heel pad in my shoe for a few weeks and it went.
Voltarol Emugel seemed to relive the pain somewhat

Plantar fasciitis Sounds like, had it maybe 18 months ago literally couldn’t walk for 5/6 days. Hospital said it’s just inflammation so I cut down sugar intake and took a lot of turmeric and it never came back.

Sounds like PF but there are other things that show very similar symptoms.
Heel spur ,small spur on the bone of your foot.

See a Podiatrist it’s the best money you will spend forget the GP.
