Bought some adidas tour 360 shoes in the January sales and recently the inside of the left shoe has started wearing away at the heel.

Even though I bought them 5-6 months ago can I still return them for a new pair at the direct golf shop I bought them from? I've still got the receipt. Anyone else had a problem with these shoes?

Yes, a lot of people have had problems with them, its a known faulty on them (albeit they will claim you bought the wrong size). I returned 2 pairs of these and a pair of adipures for the same reason and am not alone. Take them back and swap them for a different brand or get your money back imo

I bought a pair of Nike Rivial from Sportsdirect and after about 8 months the leather coating on the toes blistered quite badly. Took them back and they offered either an exchange or a credit note (standard SD policy). I didn't want an exchange so took the credit note put it towards a cart bag which I needed. I've since bought a pair of the Nike Lunar control from their online shop as they weren't available from the store and they have been brilliant in terms of comfort, durabilty and water resistance - highly recommended. I guess sometimes you get what you pay for.

Incedently I did a bit of research whilist I was having my problems, there was a guy who posted on forum who worked in a sports shop, think it was in the States and he said it is very common for them to get returns of Nike golf shoes. However it is nothing compared to the amount of Adidas shoes they have returned, I think he mentioned a ratio of four to one.

Exchanged without any problem managed to swap them for a new pair of adizeros just had to cover the £30 difference. Happy all round just hope these last long enough!!

You do not have to accept an exchange or a credit note, if they are faulty you are fully entitled to a refund. They have no right to say that this is their policy.

I think the law says different. If it's less than six months than the trader is given the opportunity to repair/replace, you can't just demand a refund.

Their policy could well mean they give you a refund but I don't believe you have rights to demand it at six months.
