I would love to go to a coach that charged less than £20 for a basic lesson and be coach to a bright golfing star like McIlroy. Sadly that isn't the going rate in my area so I have to pick a coach I feel I get the most out of and pay accordingly. That said I have struck a deal to buy a set of 5 lessons for £165 so the next lot will only be £33 per hour.
I know you wernt doubting me homer, I thought Id just throw up a link anyhoo,

the guy mixed it with Padraig Harrington and Ronan Rafferty in the 90's and moved on to coaching the young guns over here. Hes also teaching a young lady, Victoria Bradshaw (1 handicap) who hits the ball nearly as far as any bloke Ive ever played with and will be worth watching in the coming years too.

Right. I've just been down my club today and my Pro has a Xams deal which I am going to go for. Its 2x45min lessons and 1x60min on course lesson for £50.

He's a lovely guy and the two lessons which I had didnt really click at the time, I now understand what he was trying to get me to do.

I am already planning what I want to go over with him and would like to have a go on the Explanar for starters.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

I think you have made the right decision in the end mate. It may be nice for a one off lesson with a top 24 pro but you are always going to get more benefit from a set of 3 lessons. Especially with one of them on course- I must book one of these in the new year. Best of luck with them.
