Was planning a late afternoon/early evening knock on the course today. Nice and sunny, pleasantly warm, bit of a breeze, in short, ideal golfing weather.........I didn't bother!

Decided to clean my car instead!!!

As it happens, my car was filthy, having not been loved for at least 3 weeks. But there was method in my madness. Wash, rinse, dry and polish, took over 3 hours.

No problemo!!! I have a few days holiday left and decided to take them tomorrow, tuesday and wednesday to make the most of the nice weather.

Therefore I have a good chance of getting a few serious rounds of golf in. Ideal chance to play, practice and enjoy my holiday.

Life is good!

i'm off all week. You fancy a knock?

My neighbours complain when I clean my car - they know that it's a rain dance.

Works every time

Washed and waxed it (the car that is!) on Thursday am hissed with rain that night/Friday am. Drove M25/M11 Friday morning with all the associated road spray and wondered why I had bothered to clean it.

Still. Round trip + green fee (say) £30, won £4 so I'm happy :D :D :D :D
