Did you get a Kindle?

I did and I LOVE IT! it connected in seconds out of the box to my wi-fi and I downloaded my first book in another few seconds. So far it is simple to use, does what it is supposed to and the books are a good price too. I do not work for Amazon, it's not an advert I just wondered if you enjoy your as much as I'm loving mine?

I bought the mrs one and she loves it. Whilst she's reading i get peace so it was a cracking idea to get her it.

i got one and it's a very decent bit of kit. I have the app on my phone too but the bigger screen on the kindle is way better.

Got one last year. Was sceptical at first but loved it from the off. Also is very good in bright sunlight and you dont have the problem of book glue melting in the heat.

Battery life is very good as long as WiFi is switched off.

Got my mum one for Christmas and she loves it. I got the smaller version one as opposed to the full keyed one. Brilliant idea whoever came up with it.

Bought Mrs Arnie one and she is delighted with it. It will also save lugging half a dozen paperbacks on holiday!

Dont load the "Stack and Tilt" book on it as it all loads just on the left hand side!

Santa brought me one this year and I love it, down loaded "The girl with the dragon tatoo" Christmas morning and I've just finished reading it. Wife now accuses me of being antisocial. Best pressy I ever had.

I like the way it Syncs with other devices. So if I am out and about or somewhere there is no light when I load it on my phone it goes to the page I am currently reading.

I will not abandon books though. If it cheaper in print in Tesco I will get it there.

I got HID one last xmas and she's loved it so much she got me one this year.
Set up in no time at all and downloads books in seconds.
Best thing for me is the ability to read a 1000 page tome without feeling as if your arms are falling off !!
A great bit of kit.

My mum is exactly the same, likes the kindle but prefers the feel of a book. My dad got one for xmas though and loves it, says its ideal for taking on the train to work. The kindle fire is about to come out which looks pretty neat, gonna be like a proper tablet except well under the 200 dollar mark so theres a lot of talk that it will be the first proper rival to the ipad
