Hi, just finished exams (hope i've past), and had a look at my mail box (wich was full due to the time taken off for my exams). Saw that at DG you can get a Diablo driver and putter for 190 pounds.

I'm fairly sure the putters are good, but i am not sure about the diablo.

Can anybody post a review or tell me if it is good or not, considering i can't go and test drive it, cus i will have to drive a mile if i wanted to do that?

Any advice would be appreciated...

If I was thinking of spending a couple of hundred quid, I'd walk a darn sight further than a mile to be able to test it first.

Given that during a round you'll walk 5 or 6 miles, then a couple of miles to your proshop there and back is nothing.

Never use anyone elses opinion, when it's such a subjective choice.

One of them was English and i a passed with 90%...

But if you live in Holland so thats not brilliant...

Although my bruvver also got only 90%, so i reckon that's round about average for a english speaking person in Holland

Mono

I thought you had a Nike or was that last weeks model?

Thought you'd have realised by now Homer, mono has 1 of all the latest clubs, and if he hasn't got one he's hit one, and if he hasn't hit one his club junior colleagues will have one, and if they haven't got one.....blah blah blah repeat infinitum

Yeh, let's simply close the forum so that no-one posts an opinion about anything :D

I'd have thought that people post asking for opinions because they WANT an opinion, wouldn't you think so?

Anyway ...In MY opinion the diablo is a good club. I went to a Calloway golf demo day yesterday for 4½ hours and thrashed the crap out of the Diablo and the FT-iQ, both were great but I'd say that the diablo was a lot easier to hit - even moreso than my current Titleist. It's simply one of those clubs that you can look down at and think "Yep, I can hit this". The shaft will be the most impotant part, you need one that will match your swing speed.

The only thing negative I would say about it is that I was getting less spin rate with the FT-iQ so the ball was carrying further, but the Diablo would be plenty long enough for the majority of golfers..... in my opinion of course :p

What I meant was rather than rely on someone else's opinion, for the sake of travelling one mile, get down there and find out for yourself.

:p

to you too.

;)

JustOneUK is right, but i hope i haven't stirred things up between anyone (i know mono is a bit of a ****, but he's very young and as usual youth he'll behave like he is behaving)

Ahh, if you are english, you will know that the past participle of pass, is passed, not past. But that goes without saying.

That said, you will also know that consonant is spelt correctly. Unlike me. Each to their own I guess, especially in terms of rubbish spelling and grammar.

I've past my English O level
I love exams, I think there brilliant.

Is there any hope?

The "Apprentice" Girl, Yasmina, didn't know the difference between nett and gross profit or even how to define "turnover".

Pathetic..... :D

I don't watch it, but she's obviously not "a mule" then.
