"Let's Pretend " you didn't say that last sentence, he made millions from his records, not everybody's taste, but back in the day he was very popular, I've heard a lot worse singers in the charts.40+ years ago quite a few folk told me I looked like Des O'Connor, I was quite chuffed until I learned that he was 16 years older.
Great comic straight man for Morcombe and Wise.
Bloody awful singer with a dreadful choice of songs though.
