Hey guys,
i am looking for some advice from you please!.
I am thinking of buying some new irons next month, but i cannot try any, :/
I have decided on the nike vr full cavity, but they only come with stiff shafts from where i am getting them from at a really low price!!!
Do you think that the stiff shaft would be a step too far?
I currently have taylormade rac HT's with taylormade light metal shafts, i hit my 6 iron 150metres-165 yards.
Thanks!

Sorry but the only way you'll really know for sure before handing over any cash is to try them. If you buy them blind then I'm afraid you run the risk of the shaft not being ideal for you and having to either fork out on reshafting the set or selling them on at a probable loss.

Sorry if that seems negative but for all the subjective advice on here only you will know how it reacts to your swing

The other way of looking at it is.........Would you be able to recoup your money if it turns out they don't suit you?
I had a set of Full cavity VR irons....shot a level par round with them, they're excellent clubs and very forgiving.

165 yards is a good distance to hit a 6 iron, so if you get it out to that distance with a fairly fast swing, then it's likely that you could suit a stiff shaft.

The VR has a fairly high ball flight as well so stiff should help control that.

Ultimately the decision is yours, but for a low price, what have you got to lose bearing in mind you could offload them for a minimal loss if they don't suit.
