Got home on Friday night after a week away and read through your article John. Excellent stuff. I can empathise with you as I've played some of the courses you have across the country and have my own memories of them all.

I had a wee review of my own list of courses and currently sit at 80. I'm not wanting to revert to "Munro Bagging" mentality but I think I need to set myself a target of getting to the big 100 in the next couple of years.

Trouble is there are so many to chose from!

Have the rest of the mag to get through so looking forward to that. Noticed my ugly mug on page 98 and some other familiar names too. Just shows how good our forum really is and how lucky we are to be connected to the great mag.

In regards to this voucher for the Brum golf show, is it just for one person at presentation to get the special rate, or for those in your party. As I'd like to take the missus again this year, but obviously can't if only for one person.

I have now read the article and I have been motivated to begin my own quest of playing as many different courses as I can. I would also love to be able to claim that I have played 8 of the top 10 courses that is quite a feat.

As for the gear testing who on here was featured this month? I'm waiting for my turn and my 15 minutes of fame having registered back in january! Failing that I may have to write my own article for submission. I've got to get my mug in the mag somehow!

Obviously I have, come as a bit of a shock as I took the call in work. It wasn't untill after the phone call that I realised I didn't know I had provided GM with my work number!

I was chuffed to bits with the putter untill I realised the Guy next to me in the mag got an SG5!!! Can't have your cake and all that I suppose.

My poulter head cover post also featured this month and our prestwick visit last month, wonder what I will have to do to get in next month????

Nice Read J-F. I had a sit down and a think and now I'm quite depressed. I only reached 31 in 16 years. So the big one should come by in about 35 years - Jeez I'll be 80.
