Dreamer may well be correct. It was knocked on the head yesterday but not by Steve. I believe the challenge is still on. Could be a lot of humble pie being served on this forum!

Still doubt it. 300 yards. At a push in the height of summer or severely downhill or downwind then yes. Its the 9 out of 10 ratio that is so laughable. No way will every drive be dead straight and average (his words not mine) 300+ yards

well a 115mph swing speed with a regular shaft is going to give you a ballooning ball flight with no run out at all.

it would also cause a closed clubface at impact giving more wayward shots than straight so i'm confident it's all tosh.
