Was really looking forward to the December Medal, always go for Sunday to allow for extra practice on Saturday.
Of course clear enough yesterday, today Course closed!!

I spent most of yesterday at the range working on my short game, then playing 7 holes before it got dark, I felt like the practice really paid off, as I was only 6 over par which included a chip in on the the first!(good shooting for a 28 h/c)

Oh, and I was sold a new Scotty at the driving range at cost price, and was so wanting to use it in today's medal!

Nevermind, the next best thing...watching Nedbank challenge in Bed.

Our course has only been open 1 day in the last 2 weeks :( I was going to have a go at some indoor activity this morning but HID said no.. again :(

Fortunately it looks like I made a good choice with my golf club. Even with all this weather down in not so sunny Sussex the course has yet to be closed :) The only thing that stops us is the strong winds and only because you can't stand upright :p

PS. And I'm getting some indoor activity

We're open. Fairways getting a bit soft in places now but still firm in others. Greens are sweet!
We did go a few months with hardly any rain so the ground's soaked it up quite well.

Decent day up here for once in west Aberdeenshire, so much so I managed to hit a shagger of balls at the practice ground earlier.

Rusty ain't the word!

So that's where Tiger is hiding out then... :D

I asked for that didn't I? ;)

Turned out for the December Stableford today to find it cancelled - yesterday was ok, but this morning the tees were so wet they had to move them, so we couldn't participate. So a very few of us went out for a friendly. Started wet, then got worse ( a wall of water heading our way on the fourth nearly had us running) but we stuck it out and it turned into rather nice weather.

Course not been closed, but we're on temporary greens (the aprons of the real ones). Fortunately, some folk from adjacent courses have commented that our temporaries are better than their real ones. But it would be nice to get on the proper ones again. (But appreciate why we can't for now).

Great day at Leven Links today if a wee bit windy. The main problem was the sun was too bright and low it made it difficult to see the ball. Still, shouldn't complain too much, it is December!
