Damaged club?

Hi,

I went for a round today and when I pulled my 7 iron out I noticed there is a gap between the club and the hosel, its only about 2 mm if that.

I didnt hit any shots with it, just incase I made it worse. Just checked and I have had the clubs a year and one month, so outside the mizuno warranty.

Can it just be pushed back together by myself, or does it need to be repaired properly by someone who knows what they are doing?

Also, what has caused this?

Just push the ferrule back down again, it is only a cosmetic thing dont worry about it.

A few of mine have been like that since I bought them 2 years ago, tried pushing them in once but they wouldn't go any farther so thats how they stay.

If it bothers you that much put a drop of superglue on to keep the offending ferrule in situ.

Ah right, thanks, I didn't realy try to push it back down, glad thats all it is.

Boil a kettle with the lid off and hold the ferrule in the steam.
After a few seconds with a towel, push them back home and be careful not to leave it in the steam too long.
