How often do you change your golf ball, do you play a few rounds with it and then throw it or do you change every round ? you may be the type who uses it until it is lost. My question stems from a medal i won back in 2003 i was playing off 21 and shot a 85 to finish at 64 it was after i picked the ball out the hole on the 18th that i noticed something. My ball had a great big cut in it for how long it was like that i do not know but it did not seem to affect my ball striking.

New ball for a comp if it survives it's then used for 2/3 bounce games before heading to the practice ball bag.

With a cut that size it would of affect flight or feel so you probaly only manage to do it nearbthe end of your successful round.

That balls been thinned a few times. Normally get a few rounds out of a ProV or similar soft covered ball. Other balls like the 333, PD soft, NXT. last alot longer. I normally loose them before they wear out.:fore:

I use a new one for each round, then keep it in the bag and use them if I go into water/lose one in future rounds (this is rare...).
I have a clear out every few weeks and the worse ones go in the practice bag.

I have a PRO V1 used for about 6 holes thats in a similar condition to the one pictured, I have sent it back for their comments....

Am the same, new ball for the start of each medal, once finished (if not lost) then in the bag to be used as a replacement during coming rounds if initial new ball lost. Also use these balls for bounce games.

Again once I have plenty then they get retired to the practice tattie bag.

I'll use a ball until I think it's had enough (usually scuffs and scrapes that make it look "dirty") then it's off the the practice bag.
I find the Bridgestone e6 balls I'm using at the moment last a lot longer than the Burner TPs I have been using previously.
