A double out of bounds, 5 off the tee, followed by a later 3 off the tee, cost me my first break 90 score. I also missed my first ever eagle putt chance from 8ft, then missed the remaining 2ft 6in birdie. Told my playing partner I must have ran over a priest, he said are you sure it wasn’t the Pope

Ouch - must have hurt when you realised it was that close.

Still - on the up side you clearly played well for the rest of the round and you now know for sure that you can break 90 comfortably.

Bet you can't wait to get out again?

I have birdied every hole on are course, at one time or another. Only wish I could put them all together! Instead of all those double boggies that always seem to come along. Oh so frustrating!!!!!

You still beat my 93 gross and I've been playing a lot longer than you. It's a shame you didn't quite get the PB but at least you're getting close. I'm sure it's only a matter of weeks away
