Daily Mail Foursomes Today- Would not happen at your place or would it

Playing in the above today and was going pretty well 1 over after 5 average handicap 12 and when we came to the first, had started on 14th there was a bit of a hold up.

Wait for this, 2 visitors had booked a tee off time and The Club had allowed them to play. Unfortunately they were not very good taking trolleys inside greenside bunkers and not knowing where they were going and taking trolleys on tees.

Could not believe that our Club had allowed this to happen!

Why did ye start on the 14th? , sounds like the comp is not been given much respect at all ..were the club aware you were playing the comp & starting away fom the 1st tee

If you start on the back nine at our place you have no right of way when you get to the first and if I was playing in something like that I'd always start on the first anyway.

It was a shotgun start with a full field.

How can they allow people out during a full field shotgun start very strange?

If its a shotgun start it begs

a) now people can go out if all the tees are booked
b) why you started a comp from the 14th. I thought they had to start at the 1st so that strokes could be given in the right places.

Homer. There were 21 groups of 4. At par 5's one starts at 8.40 the other at 8.453 par 5's.
