Received a message telling me where a more local shop was that had helmets in stock. Tried three to find one that fitted properly, so thanks for telling me I needed to do thatHID is still without one though as they didn't fit him. TBF, they only had a small selection in stock as I think they have had a run.
The most important thing is to make sure it fits properly; apart from the comfort aspect, if it doesn't fit properly it won't do its job when you need it to. That's if you're still wearing it because it's uncomfortable. Only time I've ever bought a crash helmet mail order was to replace exactly the same make & model that I'd dropped. No way I'll buy something that important without trying it on first.

It did surprise me. HID's one will have to wait though a shop said they couldn't get more stock in.
