Custom Fitting

No its not a debate so stand ya neck hairs down and hide those teeth away.

I am after a new driver, Nothing in particular although i do like the callaway FT-5, but will settle for what ever suits me best.

I am looking for somewhere in the cheshire area where i can be custom fitted, possibly trying anything and everything with no biased sales men, trained custom fitters with all the good gear, etc etc. Range of shafts grips all that malarky. Dont wanna pay for it and dont wanna feel pressured into buying there and then.

Looked up the mizuno centre in wrexham, they provide all the above and more but obv only stock mizuno gear.

Any suggestions?

It doesnt work, lol. Since my grip has changed dave it just doesnt seem to be as good as it was. I was actually hitting the ball so straight with the hs9 cobra, the fade on my FTI was annoying on tighter fairways. Plus my pro thinks 10* is a little low and i should go for 11*. Plus i would really like to be custom fitted for my driver as i belive the fujikura speeder shaft isnt best suited to me. The adila's seem to get me better results.

Cant beleive i sold my f-speed for £50. (off to kick my self)

Tony....if you are convinced that the loft is too low, why not try a 12 degree. Personaly, I wouldn't bin a 10* for an 11* if the loft is an issue, that's not enough of a difference!

You can try my Ping G5 12* with Aldila nv65 green at some point.

TBH now that i can drive (a bit) i dont feel the need for the big square head and am just wondering if there is anything else out there that will be better suited to me. I would even use the K1 if it gained me 50 yards (well i wouldnt but almost anything)
