Just purchased my mizuno jpx800s from lexden AG last friday, not a full custom fit but 2* upright and a slightly longer shaft as recommended by the club pro. Clubs should be ready for pick up this friday, can't wait! :whoo:

Playing at Millers Barn in Clacton at the minute which is pretty good for someone who has just started but keeping an eye out for places to play more long term and become a member as it's just a 9 hole course and not a big fan of the area.

If you're close ish to my club then they do some cracking 7 day memberships for us "youngsters". Daveyc2k2 is a member there as well.

Yeh I had a look on the website yesterday and saw the student price of just over £200 which is great, will definitely go for a round one day among other places to decide what I like best before choosing what club suits me

We have struggled a bit over the last few years as a lot of the younger members disappeared off to different clubs, we're in the process of trying to build it up again and Tim has done some fantastic deals, just put in place the "Colt Plus" membership which is aimed at 30-35 year olds which is a massive relief for me as I probably wouldn't be able to afford the full membership price when I turn 30 in a couple of years time.
If you want to have a knock sometime then drop me a PM and I'll take you along as my guest and see if we can get Davey along too.
