custom fit results were.....

went yesterday to Philips Golf Discount to get fitted for a 3 and 5 wood. fitter was called craig and a very nice guy he was.

hit my own 3 wood first which was very low launching and high spin rate. low hang times all combined in ok but not great distance and poor control.
i then hit the following
mizuno mp65
ping g20
cleveland cg black
nike(not sure which one)

g20 and nike ruled out quite quickly. half went expecting the g20 to be coming home but alas not to be.

the mizuno was just edging the cleveland when craig pulled the mizuno jpx800 out of he's box of tricks.

wow. spin down, carry up, hang time up, distance up. looked great and felt great.

i'll have a 3 and 5 wood please.

5 wood is on order and i've had 2 cheeky range sessions with my lovely new 3 wood which have been very encouraging. big thumbs up to Philips Golf Discount and mizuno

Great club you have there, I started with the JPX800 driver and loved it so much that I added the 3 wood and hybrid. Should be on most peoples' list to try in my opinion and what is more, they are not that expensive

Cheap as chips for such a good club. Can't wait to unleash it on the course. Craig was quiet but very very good
