I am wondering whether to go up a shaft to a slightly stiffer model in order to try and cure the high draw I currently hit. I have an 83-85 mph swing and was fitted for a senior (M) flex shaft in my R11. Now I'm not short with it, easily keeping up off the tee with other players around my handicap range but I do tend to send the ball out right and it then draws back, it's not a hook. I would prefer to be able to straighten the shot up and not send it out right so much on tighter holes, so would going up to a reg shaft help with this?

Saw the thread title and thought stiffer shaft - read it and you agree. Coud be technique but how high do your irons fly. Think you can get shafts pretty cheap on ebay for your head so give one a go. You'll probably end up with a new driver if you go to a pro!

it was sergio in either last months or the month before GM mag. he said he finds it impossible. its either a fade or a draw for him. i believe him too. i think ive hit one straight ball in my life im sad to say.

Draws and fades require mismatches between the swingpath and clubface. A straight shot requires them to match up perfectly. Not easy.

I have an R11 and my standard drive is straight or a fade. I've tried using the adjustability to close the club face but that seemed to cause more problems so have gone back to the neutral setting.

Just wish I could hit a draw at all:fore:.
