Cruden bay

I’m up for a jolly to Aberdeen in August and trump is already booked.

We’re possibly also playing cruden bay but is it worth the £135? We have potentially a member who will sign us on in absentia but unsure how much that is? Anyone know?

Also we’ve been offered the 9 holer for free on the same day- is it worth playing? 27 holes the day before trump might be a bad idea??? Can you hire buggies at CB?

can't answer any of those questions, though members clubs in these parts is £10 or £15 at most, though i doubt many would let you sign people on without them playing with you.

As for Buggy's if they have Yanks a plenty which i think they do they will have.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of Cruden bay. It's nice but £135 nice?

I guess that's down to personal preference. For me Fraserburgh and Peterhead offer far greater value.

Fair enough, but that is very unusual in my experience, Dornoch only let you sign 3 at a time as do mine and Moray was the same.

I had to be out with one of the 4 balls but you have to remember Dundonald (IMO) was a cash cow for LL group.
