Critique my Swing please

Some good things Slaighty.....

First swing I've seen on here where you actually maintain a good flex in your right knee BUT I suspect you are sitting down a little too much with the weight in your heels. Look at your head (compared to the fence) you are not maintaining your height, (it's down then up at the end) therefore you won't get any consistent rotation around your spine. Keep the flex, but if you have been told to sit down during the backswing (as I have drilled a few times), no more now!!

The angle (plane) is actually ok, ignore the flat boys!

Grip......yes what's going on here, way down.

You have a killer move in your hands during the move-away......they are coming away from your body (a little) before routing around you......I know this all too well. It's difficult to see, but I know it's there.

Lastly, whoever said you could be getting through the ball (weight moved to left side) too well could be right.....watch how your right foot leaves the ground really early......???......looks odd.

Don't fiddle with your plane. Keep the legs "as is" but be aware of your height. Fix how you are holding the club. Try not to launch yourself so attackingly to your left side through the impact....there's only so much you can throw to the left before you'll hit disaster timing. Practice your first move.

Having said all this.....there's some really good stuff here, piece it all together and...wow...could be great.

Really appreciate you all for taking the time to offer advice.
After I,ve got my barnet sorted I'll be heading for the range tomorrow to work on some of your tips. Realgolfer, I'm interested in your comment about moving my hands away from my body at takeaway - Could you elaborate? And I seem to be far too quick - never realised my swing was so fast!

Slaighty, my tuppence worth,
Your pace is pretty good, you dont put enough weight onto the right side on takeway and your balance is a little unsure towards the end of the swing (watch your left foot)
You kept your head well and steady which is always a good sign. Keep it going matey.

When I used to spend my spare time "out the back" in the pro shop, I watched a lot of the video lessons. If the camera is set up directly behind (t.b.h. a lot can be learned from the other way) you can watch to see how the hands move at the start of the swing. Ideally (unless I don't remember correctly), the hands should appear to move straight back for the first part of the move away - i.e. not away from the body. It's a small thing to spot, but essentially, if the hands are coming away, then so too are the arms, therefore upsetting the balance when the arms and body are moving in harmony for the first move.

Slaighty, Ive just noticed one other thing, please tell me to shut up too if you dont appreciate it!
You also seem to be off balance on impact, I like to think of this split second as the moment where everything comes together and you are at your most solid and forcing the club through the ball. If you are on your tippy toes its almost as if you have already put the effort in early and its sapping back out through the rest of the down swing.
Probably not the best example but it was at hand, ive taken a snapshot of you a fraction of a sec before impact, and one of myself (I am not a scratch golfer, far from it). Please dont take this as anything other than an idea of how the ball can be hit, not THE only way it can be hit.
Im sure I will be corrected by some of the more knowledgeable folk on here if I am misguided but I believe the right foot should only be lifting at the heel as you are going through the ball not well before as your right foot should be driving you through and shifting weight back to the front foot.

Watch Jeff sluman and some of the other solid hitters, tiger etc almot lifts off the ground so my theory isnt the be all and end all. Then again, if you hit it like tiger, you wouldnt be here, youd be out on the range getting ready for round 2 of whatever competition is on this week!

I think so matey! :D
I honestly didnt see that part of your post somehow... bizarre. I did add a little on though if thats any consolation haha.
