Crime Website

[HRC99]

The police launched a website last night which shows the crime in your area. Quite interesting, as it shows you what crimes were committed and where. Literally. It shows them on a street map.

I was quite alarmed that there had been 12 in my area in December until I put in my in-laws postcode and it popped up with 283!

Any way, it is an interesting site:

looks like we do have 'police' - two CSO, and neither of them look like they could catch Leftie on his zimmer frame!

87 over the area, western edge of town out into the boonies, so 'other crime' might include a bit of incest.

nearest are a couple of Anti-social a couple of hundred yards away, and a couple of violent a good bit further than that. both in the same street - so a repeat?

59 for me, which was a bit higher than I expected. The area I moved from 3 years ago is 644 !!

My area showed around 630! Mind you the radius does cover Watford Town Centre (about 400!) and Murph's house (the remainder!)

Not bad where I live,but in town centre 5 miles away it`s the highest in the country 399

7, but i have alibi's for at least 3 of them. : None within our village, but our postcode covers Frensham Ponds, which is a tourist attraction and where there are always the odd car crime.
