Just to let you all know, Direct Golf also have the same deals, so if you're close to a DG store and are tempted you can go and check them out in person at your local store.
I tried the regular XTD irons a couple of weeks ago against my Adams idea a12 os, I was impressed but decided against purely because the a12's are doing fine for me right now and the start of the season is creeping up.
That said, my teaching pro has offered to watch me hit them and give me his opinion, still thinking that I might just do that and if it's a thumbs up I could always buy them at the bargain price and either wait until later in the year to switch or introduce them gradually through practice and non-competitive rounds...

Was in Sports Direct yesterday and although not Adams related, they had some very loud Slazenger trousers that would give anything from Loudmouth a run, if anyone with a penchant for these is interested. Only £25 or so

My new irons arrived at lunchtime, so took them out for a hit on the practice ground and then 9 holes this afternoon. Absolutely love them! Still hit a few duff shots, but the ones I hit well went for miles compared to my old clubs. Back out again tomorrow and Wednesday if the weather holds up
