Cracking deals at sportsdirect

that's the XTD tours, sorely temped, the standard XTD'S are £150!
Other stuff on there as well may be a lunchtime order coming in!

Well if anyone is interested

I own the Forged version and i must say they are by far the best performing irons i have owned

Plenty forgiving and silly long. Not sure about the normal XTD, but the forged do not have jacked lofts either. Fantastic irons.

The Pro Hybrids are also immense. I own a 2 Hybrid and it is so easy to hit. In a head to head v's a Ping i25 3 wood, the hybrid was only a few yards behind it and much easier to whack.

The DHY's are great if you like a high launching Hybrid

Im a convert to Adams recently. Top top quality. Every bit as good as your Titleist, Ping, Taylormade etc

Its never been easier to nail those perfect shots and land the ball just where you want it than with the Adams Combo Stainless Steel 8 Pieces Golf Club Set! Its tech filled design includes the easy launch system to increase ball height and forgiveness on every shot for easy and effortless fun. Complete with a low and back CG for improved speed and spin while the velocity slot provides flex and speed over a boosted sweet sport for a better chance at the perfect hit.

> Golf Club Set
> CG lowered further back for speed and spin
> Velocity slot tech
> Easy launch system
> High performance grip
> Adams branding
> 8 piece set

doesn't tell you what the 8 clubs are or what model, although judging by the pic, it's a 3 hybrid and 7 irons?

edit - take it back, "R/H 3.4r5-P"

assume that means 3 and 4 hybrids and 5-PW. Am tempted, but only stiff shaft available for RH, not sure that would suit me as I have a pretty slow swing?

well that set is left hand but its 3&4 hybrid and 5-pw irons, adams blue is perfect for a beginner

if you move your mouse over the 2nd thumbnail under "Colour" you can select right handed.

I read some reviews and they also said these clubs are great for beginners, however I am just worried about the stiff shafts as I thought they were aimed at folk with a fast swing?

As I have been looking at some clubs for my mum I saw that they had a set of Adams AS12 for women going for £140.00. Do any of the ladies on here know if they are any good.

Give this review a watch from our editor Mike!

Beginners should lean towards regular shafts to help them launch it higher while they're still improving their technique, but that said, the Blue range uses very light shafts, so the stiff ones won't be as stiff as many others you can find.

Buy the Adams blue, cracking clubs, very easy to hit and if you can get a fairway wood as well then do it as the 3 wood I have is the best of the lot. I went for stiff shafts and they are perfect

The 8 club combo is 3&4 hybrid then 5-PW irons

I have the irons and the are very nice (and easy) to hit. I am a decent iron striker anyway (unlike my woods 😋) but the odd of centre hit still goes well.

Can't speak for the driver, hybrids or fairways but I don't think you can go wrong with the combo set and add the 3 wood and driver for around £300

Honestly, great clubs. I was lucky enough to win the full set along with GB72.

We all got stiff shafts, and as Jake has said, they aren't really that stiff. I would recommend the full package for that price.

I'm growing out of my driver as the shaft isnt stiff enough, but I imagine I'll be keeping the irons and hybrids for a long time.

I remember the hybrid coming 2nd in a mags hybrid comparison not that long ago. And it was competing with all your Titleists, Pings, TMs etc etc. Adams know how to make a hybrid. So at that price I'd wade in, great set of clubs.

Sweet. if you are getting 2 Adams Blue hybrids and 6 irons for 170 quid then that is a genuine bargain.:)

just need to punt my current 2nd hand Wilson Staff clubs now. Got offered £75 by golfbidder for them in Dec, so should be able to move them on and get my net investment down to around £100:)
