We have booked a holiday in The Canaries from 4/12/20 and at the weekend they brought in a rule that a certificate was required that we were COVID free The cost is around £120 which is not a problem.

Has anybody had any experience and which are the best companies please?

Many thanks

From following a few travel groups of facebook, worth checking if it needs to be a certain type of test and whether it needs to say that on the certificate. Some places also now not accepting tests carried out at home. For some countries the NHS test is not acceptable as there is not enough detail in the results confirmation to pass their requirements.

Cheers GB. Think all that is required for Canaries is a cert that a test has been carried out

I wouldn’t bother paying. You won’t be going on holiday. No chance this lockdown will end as scheduled

The OP is from Cumbria. Hmm, I wouldn't be confident that an extension for the northern part of the country wouldn't happen, and I assume insurance would not cover the trip. They will move regions back into tiers and I bet a tier 4, remarkably like the lockdown, will be introduced and applied to anywhere that a significant number of cases are happening.
