im going down to leeds for a week in july i already have south leeds golf club on my list of places to play but does anyone know of any where else worth playing while im down in that area?

Yep sure do, The big four are Moortown,Alwoodley,Sandmoor and Moorallerton all very good courses with a great challenge these are the top ones in the Leeds area.I am not going to try to grade these 4 as I could get lynched, suffice to say all brilliant. A little further down the scale but still very good courses are Cobble hall ( home of the oldest professional tournament in the world) Headingley and Garforth. South Leeds is on your list and is a good test particularly it's par 3's. That should be good enough for anyone for a start. Look them up on't net I'm sure they will all whet your appetite.
