Hi All,

There are a number of us having a get together in Tidworth on the weekend of 2/3 April. We are playing Tidworth on the Saturday, however looking for somewhere to play on the Sunday.

At present I have listed as potentials: North Wiltshire, High Post and Upavon.

If memory serves me rightly there is a member on here from Upavon and from Tidworth - can you shed any light on the above or recommend anywhere else?

People are travelling from the North West and East Anlgia so ideally looking at somewhere that would be on route north to the M4 and not to far out of the way for either groups of people.

Thanks in advance for any comments/help with local knowledge

Upavon i played years ago! Its quirky and you need a sherpa to carry your clubs IIRC! I quite enjoyed it though! Although thats at least 5 years ago, so no idea of how it is these days.

Both North Wilts and High Post are OK, the same king of quality/challenge as Tidworth
Watch out for the jets/ helicopters at High Post.
I would dodge Uphaven.

Marlbourgh or Broome Manor are closer to the M4

Next stop north back to the M4 will be Marlborough and Ogbourne.

Both ok, Marlborough the better of the 2.

high post is the wrong way, but it's the best course out of the 3.

Bowood did a £40 green fee and lunch deal about that time last year. That's bang on the M4 @ chippenham & a good option

if you go to North Wilts, can you rescue my trousers from the Barbed wire fence next to the 2nd? thanks :o
