Courses in Las Vegas

I have played Royal Links - mock up of some Open holes. OK but expensive, and Primm Valley, about 45 minutes west towards LA. Very good indeed.

I hear that Paiute is also pretty good for reasonable money. bali Hai is right in town and was used for a Big Break series, pretty compact course. Wynn is ultra-expensive, as is Shadow Creek. The courses at Reflection Bay (about 30 minutes east) are also pretty nice.

I was there last month and unless you're hiring a car getting to a course is gonna cost you quite a bit in taxi fares. The only one that is local to the strip is the wynn and as was already said its very expensive.

Had a hire car and travelled about 15 minutes and played Stallion Mountain GC.

Pretty reasonable rates to actually play and I enjoyed the course - the scenery was fabulous. Pro shop was a little expensive mind - it is the only time I have had to hire clubs and was charged $40 for a sleeve of crappy pinnacles and a further $50 for a hat as I didnt have my regular gear with me.

Apart from that - I think you are best driving out of town a little to get to decent value courses.
