Imurg
The Grinder Of Pars (Semi Crocked)
Getting so frustrated with the way APGC is, or isnt , managing the course.
All bunkers - all 6 of 'em! - have been declared GUR until further notice...yet they are perfectly good enough to play out of. No ecplaination as to why. We've had comps run which they've adjusted handicaps after..can't do that can they?
Also, in previous Winters, all par 3 holes have had a range mat put down for us to tee off from. It protects the tees, which are shocking anyway. Apparently there have been complaints from a handful of people who dislike using mats.
Most of the par 3 tee boxes are now simply mud but that's alright because a few people are happy. God alone knows what state they'll be in by March.
Most of the greens are full of holes , well, best way to describe them is a bit like a divot. There's obviously been a weed or moss or something there. This has been dealt with but the "crater" left behind makes putting a lottery. Some are 1/2 inch deep.
There were only "Oily Rags" available to moan to, or at least seek an explaination, today and I hope I can find someone in authority to try and find some answers.
All in all it just emphasizes the fact that they have no money, won't be getting any investment due to the shadow of HS2 and that they just don't seem to care.
Despondent of Aylesbury....
