Allegedly Sir John will kick anyone out of the club if caught scrumping. Usually first week or two in September I always slice one or two off the tee on our 8th. Which ends up in a walk down the RHS of said fairway where the orchard boxes full of apples lay. Not quite sure if filling yer golf bag from the boxes is classed as scrumping.
They are advertising on our course web page for Apple pickers as there short of pickers this year.
Oh ah, Sir John has his own cider made, it looks like a scrumpy cider and tastes Rammel. It is the worst thing to ever touch my lips.

Strangely satisfying when somewhere you know/frequent is on the box...

Yesterday it was a greasy spoon in [Mill End] I used to have breakfast in [occasionally] when finishing a night shift when I worked in Denham... They then went onto a bakers we get bread from when we shop in Rickmansworth...
