Well done to Paul Casey in Bahrain. Excellent performance against some of the worlds finest.
Brilliant to see him back on the winners podium!

Its been on the cards for a while.. After a poor first 6 months to 2010, he turned it around and he is now getting what he is due... "Paul Keep It Up".

Could be back in world top 5 depending how Leftie gets on tonight.

What?
Is the Old Codger in with a shout of No.4 in the world..??

Oh you mean PM... - sozz...

Good win for Casey - especially as he's in my Fantasy Team!!

Its good to see him back to winning ways, especially as I have him and Jiminez (2nd) and Karlsson (5th) and Molinari E (8th) in my fantasy team

my guys won Euro 615794 not a bad start

Fragger :D

Casey is a bigger tit than Woods.

Another quality post. How can you make such ridiculous comments. He's a beautiful swinger of a club when he's really on and although I feel he has underperformed for the talent he has he's been at the top end for years. It's good to see him break a 20 month drout

Yeah, I agree with HJS, how can he be a bigger t1t than Woods?

His junior academy at FoxHills is incredible - for that alone he should be commended plus, as HJS says, his all round golf game is superb.

Incredibly unlucky to have missed out on last years Ryder Cup, IMO.

He missed out on the RC because he is committed to the PGA not the European tour, he also was not picked because of his attitude which showed in the previous RC. He is a smarmy up his own ass golfer, don't like him tbh.

So he decided to play in the US. McIlroy did it last year so is he a tit by default as well?

I knew of his attitude at the RC and yes he did act out of line and yes it probably did cost him a Ryder Cup spot but as golf is usually about indvidualism then I think as a golfer he is one of the best swingers of the club in the game at the moment

As an aside did anyone see the whole free drop from GUR thing for Casey? Think it was around the turn somewhere but anyway the way the whole thing was sorted out got me thinking after the recent Saltman/Harrington DQ's/bans which are down to a matter of millimetres.

Casey paced out from where his egg was to the pin then to where his relief was saying it was 28 paces....who's to say the 2nd 28 paces to find his relief wasn't actually 25 paces at the same and 3 smaller paces to the original ones??

It was all overseen by Andy MCPhee who did the same....I am pretty sure my 2 lots of 28 paces wouldn't be exactly identical!!

It's good news that Casey won today! It's a shame BBC's 10 o'clock news didn't even mention it in their sports round-up this evening...
