Computer/Email Help please

My mum has accidentally deleted an email she was sent in January this year. Her deleted items only go back to last Saturday. Is there any way to recover the email? She "thinks" she's using Yahoo mail.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

the emails for yahoo are sat on the yahoo dB - if it's been deleted the only way that it could be retrieved would be by Yahoo but I doubt they would

Next thing would be go back to the sender to get it re sent

LpP is correct, it is difficult.. when did she delete it? Yahoo can restore up to 7 days worth of backup..

Also any chance of it being in the Sent folder as she may have responded to it ?

Think it was deleted today. I did ask if she had replied to it but she said she'd looked and couldn't find it if she had. Will let her know that she might be able to get it back but might just be easier to get it resent.

Yes it does - check your Trash folder.

She did try that and said it wasn't there. Not 100% sure it was only deleted today but even if it was wouldn't it be removed as over 7 days old?

Not necessarily, depends what settings you have.

Do you back up your computer regularly? If so restore it to, say, yesterday. It should be there.

The email won't be stored on the PC - it's on a Yahoo Database

A tip for the future, I always create another folder called "Saved" or summat and copy anything I need to keep into it.
