if you get the chance to see the golf on Sky you'll see that that GM's new touring pro Sam Hutsby is currently right up at the top of the leaderboard at the Castello Masters
fingers crossed for the boy!

He played well until the 18th and was holing out from 6-10 feet with aplomb. I agree it'll be squeeky bum time tomorrow but he's got a solid amateur career behind him including Walker Cup and being young and fearless has nothing really to lose. Go get them Sam.

Saw his post-round interview yesterday evening, seems to be a very pleasant and level-headed young man.

Well done to GM for signing him up, hopefully it will be a profitable partnership.

Got an eagle on the first hole today, but has struggled since

saw him on golf night last night getting interveiwed, look a nice level headed lad, then saw the shot that they had off, him hitting a 3 wood out of a bunker on a par 5 some shot!

sorry to say, he holed his 2nd on the first today and a bit down hill after that, hope he can pull it back,at only 20 he will have a great future in the game

He's putting together a bit of a back 9 run. Back to level par after 14. A couple more birdies and I reckon he's good for a top 10 finish.

Good solid top ten finish which for the 3rd event of a fledging career is a great effort. On the plane to Singapore for next weeks event so hopefully another good performance beckons. Wonder if any of the GM team fancy swapping their journalistic careers to be his bagman and a % of what looks like some decent money over the next few years. Now there would be a coup and a story!

Just had a look at the entry list for Singapore. There's so many Aisan Tour players in the field that Sam needs 70 odd guys to drop out before he gets in. Even Jonzon, who won today needs someone to drop out in order to make the tee.
Then you've got the World Matchplay and the HSBC Champions which he won't get into. After that its Hong Kong and Australia until the big one in Dubai.
