Come & have a wander round Kings Acre for free, gents.

John,

Good Video's. Played Kings Acre a few times last year. The 15th is something else and would certainly be the source of debate on the forum. Would certainly be up for a forum outing later in the year.

You're right there! Half the members hate it, half of them love it.

Put it this way, I played it with 2 forumers last year (I'll save their blushes) and only one finished it. The other had a 9.

Personally I love it. It's certainly unique. Will post some footage at some point in the future.

Will defo get an event arranged for later in the year.

Good videos, thanks for posting. One thing that showed me was that I don't have to swing like I'm killing something off the tee.

cheers for posting this, It's made me miss not playing for 3 weeks even more, :D

there aren't many public courses as good as that down here

I'm not sure I would relish a camera following me around and opening myself up to feedback from all the short game gurus on the forum

Nice looking course, and great work with the camera and commentary.

One comment on your short game, not that mine's great. It looks like you have too much leg movement for the chips and pitches, which could cause inconsistent contact.
Only my opinion, I'm no expert and you're 5 shots better than me! :)

I just watched in in 720p wow it looks clear.
But dearie dearie me :(
You said it yourself so I won't rub it in.
Follow through ya bawheed !!! :)

You should see my flopshots, Bob. D'you fancy being Pelz? I'll be Phil.

Great vids John. Course looks in great nick (if a litte wet) for this time of year. No comment on the short game though, you've had enough! KA looks like a good course, i'd be up for a forum meet when the weather gets better.

What type of camera did you use? Picture quality and stillness of frame were excellent. I've been wanting one for a few months to use at the range, hadn't even considered using it on the course. Top idea!

Nice video shame about the swing. ;) ;)

Only joking watching too much 'not the 9 o'clock news'. Course looks good for this time of the year. My tip for your chipping, edit it out next time. :D

Great video and I admire our courage for putting it up warts and all. If it had been me there would have been plenty of editing and maybe one approach and a putt making it onto the funal cut. Very enjoyable and a lovely looking course. Even the peacock at the 1st is a nice touch. Is it on a retainer?
