Do any of you have a golf related collections?
Balls, markers, scorecards, clubs, anything really.
The reason I ask is that im a bit of a collector/hoarder, whatever my chosen hobby is (and i've had many) at any given time I always find something to collect. Only im yet to start a golf related one. Worryingly I have joined the Scotty Cameron collectors forum, and bought 2 Scottys in the last month (all be it for a grand total of £75) but however tempting I dont think i'll ever afford a good one. You should check out some of them, the site is 'The Cameron Collector' (cant do links) some of those guys have hundreds of them costing up to $10,000.

Always get a souvenir yardage book from a new course i play at (got 2 shoe boxes full).
But my real golf collecting passion was putters.....i say was because HID put her foot down eventually....got a few nice Scotty's and TP Mills before stopping (just pausing in reality) ;).

cmon what scotty's have you got? make me jealous.

I've got a Spalding T P Mills blade putter (model - TPM Tour Series No 17) that I sometimes use. An american guy came up to me a while back and asked if I'd sell it him for £100! Is it worth that much?

I'll never sell it as it's beaut to use and I just love it.

I still have a full set (4) of Peter Thomson (Wood) woods that I got for my 21st birthday (35 years ago) The 2 and 4 woods are still in pretty good condition but the Driver and the Spoon have had several new shafts and grips as these were the two woods that were never out of my bag during the seventies

A Mills Spalding were the first mass produced in conjunction with a major club manufacturer, they are still highly collectable and obviously they will now only get rarer. TP Mills later changed to Mizuno for there mass produced putters.
I don't have a Spalding Mills but i have a couple of Mizzy Mills and a hand made Mills.
A hand made Mills are every bit as well made and expensive as the better know Scotty's, With all the same custom options available also.
You occasionally see a pro's Mills up for sale but they usually go for silly money, i've seen one of Faldo's, one of David Toms and one of Monty's go for 4 figures each!!!

TP's passed away now but his son David has carried on the family business (older than SC) and has inherited his fathers skills

Paul Constantine is the uk importer for Mills and a really nice helpful guy, try - http://tpmills.co.uk/
check those babys out!!!!!!! :D

I usually try get an extra score card for where ever I am, usually they have a decent layout or pictures of the course to look back on.

Lots of collections! Golf course branded golf balls, branded pencils, yardage books. Dont really specialise in them though. I have collected a lot of foreign coins and I use the american quarters as ball markers but i don't know if that counts :D
