Cobra F6 Driver

Looking at buying a new driver in the next couple of months. Currently play the X2Hot for the last couple seasons which I enjoy but fancy a change

Was really interested in the XR16 but have just came across a couple of Youtube videos regarding the Cobra F6 and reviews seems to be really positive. I noticed the shaft length is nearly an inch shorter than my current X2Hot which I think would be a positive with regards to consistency

Anyone had a change to try the F6 yet or have any other info on it?

Afraid not. It's not out till 29th January so unless anyone's had a sneak peek not sure anyone will have tried it. Don't rule out team F6+ when you try it as you may be able to get a better perormance with the greater adjustability of weight position.

Ye will definitely give the F6+ a go but I play off 18 so need all the forgiveness I can get.

Never really considered Cobra gear before but this driver has certainly got me interested

You may play off 18 now but as you'll get better with the + you can gradually move the weight forward as you so it'd be a driver that could be adjusted to your improving game a little more incrementally than the F6 but that said an extra 50 notes is always an extra 50 notes

I was holding out for the f6+ but having hit the flyZ+ I wasn't overly impressed. The stock stiff shaft was terrible.... Barely a regular at best compared with the stock shaft in the aero burner and xr.

Tried the xr(15), 816 alpha, flyZ+ and the aero burner all against my 913d3, the cobra was by far the one most in need of a shaft upgrade, and this was even with me holding back on it and I don't have the most aggressive swing.

Don't know your game but I play off 19 and have the Fly Z +.

Shorter shaft makes it easier to control.

Forgiveness off the face is unreal (and I've used all of it!).

Give it a go. Pay attention to how off centre strikes react. Look at the shaft upgrades.
