Sounds like I'm spoilt for choice with offers to play...glad I wandered in here!

Thanks to everyone for the opinions re: club golf as well. If I'm honest, that's me all over, being competetive, trying to get a better score weekly. Think I need a bit more practice as a nomadic player before committing myself though. Will keep all offers in mind once my exams finish!

Then I can take advantage of the beauty of being a student (the two month summer holidays...) to really get playing

Play around first, or maybe only join a club without a joining fee to start with, so no great harm done.

Some clubs also do student or under 30's rates, so worth keeping an eye out for them deals.
