If club makers started to re-issued old models, like they do with guitars what you get.

Mizuno TP-601 lob wedge. Wore the middle out of mine, best wedge I ever had. Still in the garage but not much good with worn out grooves.

I bought a wooden 4 wood from a boot fair for 50p. .... I used that as my driver for a long time, hitting it just over 200 yards. I loved that club.... tee or fairway it was long and straight.

Persimmon driver woods for me, got a couple, a RAM and Dynacraft, both very nice, although the Dynacraft hasn't been hit, beautiful piece of wood tho just like a 58 Les Paul. Mmmmmmm
Maxfli Australian blades. Loved them but doubt I could use them to any effect these days

Not clubs, but Golf Pride used to do a half cord grip. The underside was rough cord and the top was like tour velvet - perfect grips but can't get them any more

Blades are blades Homer. They all look nice (gorgeous even) but are not very forgiving! MP-4s anyone?
I don't regret any of them moving on - as long a the 'slot' that the clubs I loved is still filled. TM have 'dropped' the Forged CB from their line-up - Speedpocket forced that I believe - and the Nike Pro Combos have been 'dumbed down'.
If you can't find a club that suits your game from the myriad that is out there, it's your game, not the choice!
And if you still hanker after something like the MP57s (or whatever - I have a few potential ones) Ebay is a good friend!

Taylormade 200 3-wood. I never had one when they came out, but picked one up in a bargain bin last summer for £10. In a bit of a state cosmetically, but I have never hit a club so consistently well, and straight too. Just seems ideally suited for my swing.

mmmmmmmm Only ever saw one set and that was in my mates bag in Scotland. They were proper blades and felt like siding a hot knife through butter when hit out of the middle.
I think I would toss it up between the TM 300 Tour Forged irons or the TM RAC TP Combo that I replaced them with.
Callaway Steelhead 4+ (3+etc) fairway, still love mine but a newer one would be nice (don't tell the current one I said that- beautiful head)

I had a set of those for about 10 years, I bought them off a pro who had led the Australian Open for two rounds with them!!

Random isn't it, that fairway won a bunch of awards against the likes of RBZ and Titleist 910 and yet Mizuno seemed to drop it like dead wood(no pun intended)...
I guess everyone who has one is keeping it. They did get really cheap before they vaporized. I wonder if Mizuno has some problems with manufacturing or something?

Three or four memorable pieces/sets of kit there.
Never had the Steelhead (+)s - nor the equally good but Titanium Hawkeyes. But they did go very well. Had a V-Steel over that period which is another outstanding head.
Had 6 sets of TM300s (5 simultaneously for a while) for the 3 'bag locations'; RAC Combos seemed to be a step down, but probably more because of the shafts I installed (light shafts don't suit me!) and, for the snob in me, they weren't Miura forged. Had a 'matching' 2-iron that was magic!
TM200 woods were also great - better for links than the V-Steel imo. The 'Ridgy' and the (Tour) Smoothie. My Pro mate caved my 13* Smoothie's face in a while back, otherwise I'd probably still be using it - with my first Matrix shaft (Code 8)!

I would like to nominate Callaway X-14 irons, one of the most 'universal' sets ever. Seemed to suit everyone from beginner to low handicapper.

Titleist Tour Model Forged. Lovely.
I kept the sand iron for many years after the rest of the set had gone and I wish I could get another one of them. Beautiful club to chip with.
