Very good piece of kit that tells you everything you need to know about how you hit (distance, ball speed, swing speed etc). I presume that he has got this mre as a training aid or does he offer custom fitting on a regular basis?

Think ball fiting is the new thing for 09!

Makes sense though although I would guess Pro V's and the like would be most people's best match

Would love a go on launch monitor outside only had a go on one in AG

I think we have had this before but never bottomed it. Homer says swing speed but wonder if that is a 'backwards' calculation from ball speed? Accusport's site says

Measured Parameters
Ball Speed: within 0.5 MPH
Launch Angle: within 0.2 degrees
Back Spin: within 150 RPM
Side Spin: within 150 RPM
Side Angle: within 2 degrees
Ball Flight Calculations

* Down Range
* Off Line
* Flight Time
* Max Height
* Total Distance

They have changed the game for us mere mortals by finding the correct loft/shaft combo its muc more cost effective gone are the days of trial and error,

i remember 10 years ago as a junior a guy got a Taylor Made burner bubble and hit it well but in wind he could only hit it 150 and he payed a absolute fortune for the thing now with the likes of vector we can get a good fit brand new club for less than £200

I have Used the Vector Twice and the trackman once. I prefere the trackman. Much simpler and its more user friendly. Might also be the fact that the pro using the trackman shown me everything it can do and the Vector I didnt see much of.

Most Places charge about £25 for about 45 mins for a go on the vector/trackman. Free if you buy clubs. Handy if your getting fitted as it is a case of trial and error till you get it right.

Could be used to accuratly measure your mean distances if you used the balls you play with and hit off grass etc.

Sure they use the trackman software to show everyone at home the ball flights and stats of the televised par3's on T.V.
