Club fitting North East

Hi, I live in Gosforth in Newcastle, I bout a cheap second hand set of clubs (Taylormade Burners OS, M2 Driver) from the golf factory in June last year when I started to play.
I’ve broke 100, and now typically go round in the low 90’s.
I want to buy a new set of clubs before the spring, and want to get properly fitted as I’m tall at 6’3”…does anyone have any recommendations?

Close House has quite a set up

No experience of anywhere in Newcastle but one of my playing partners used close house (Sally) and was very happy with the fitting. It's a good set up by the looks of things

I've heard good things about Close House. If you're after a specific brand then Titleist often have free fitting days at Parklands.

A few guys at our place have gone to Boldon GC and say they are very good.

I second rudebhoy, I actually got fitted at Boldon Golf Club. The guy trades as Golfworx, he’s called Karl.
Very impressed with my iron fitting, very conscientious and dedicated.
I’ll be getting a new putter this year, and I’ll be heading back there

If you fancy a bit of a ride out, Tour Truck Golf at Richmond, two minutes from Scotch Corner is brilliant. He builds the clubs there and then so you don’t have to wait weeks which is amazing.
