advice please: club fitting in the midlands

hello all, i have played a bit of golf on and off since i was a kid nothing serious no scoring involved i am now 30 and im looking to get into it more seriously playing a couple of times a week. i would get a second hand set but im 6”5 and i want to get fitted properly so i can improve my game.

im looking at getting a club fit, also one that would have decent prices for someone coming in and spending a couple of thousand? any recommendations around the midlands area.
i was thinking maybe adam bishop golf in northampton?

I don’t know of Adam Bishop (AB golf) having a place in Northampton, but their main fitting centre is in Thame, Oxfordshire and do have a really good set up.

Melvyn Fern at Custom Fitting (fourcountiesgolf.co.uk) has been recommended many times by friends of mine in the Midlands. However Melvyn operates with a limited rage of products and you may find yourself restricted.....but as a Club Fitter/Builder he is up there with the best of them.
