I always love playing in this - past 6 years the course has been nice and firm and the greens 12+ sometimes near 13 - never played to handicap on any day! This year, we have had huge rain over the past 2 weeks - although on the positive, it hasn't rained for 24 hours. So the course is likely to play very long and the greens probably slower than normal - this will suit the low handicapers as they will keep the ball in play easier. Oh - and a light 23mph constant wind with 46 mph gusts - this will be a battle! Might make it 2 Peronis instead of 1 for breakfast!:mmm::D

Looking forward to Camberley and the third day of golf in a row on Monday!:)

An improvement today - just an NR!!

Yesterday - I was on the 8th - took a rescue club for safety after thinking of going for the green with the driver. of course, I hooked it in the lake - dropped - smacked it out of bounds, dropped again - and it looked like it was going for the green/bunker - had a quick look - couldn't find it so headed back to drop again, with the other group having already driven off - rushing back dropped a ball before I put my back down or turned round - the others in my group were shouting saying they have found my ball - I couldn't hear as it was blowing a hurly and I am a bit deaf! so I picked up the dropped ball and went back and caried on - but as soon as I had dropped that ball - it was the one in play!

I stayed at the club until 10 and got trollied - got home ordered a kebab - I can't remember much else other than the fact that I woke up in the early hours went downstairs - sky sports still on and my uneaten kebab on a plate untouched - and I was starving last night as I had not eaten since breakfast! Must have gone upstairs to the loo and decided to go to bed! the golf was not pretty today!:(

Hayho - there is always tomorrow!
