If i was this guy I would just walk away and forget the club. All these petty posts and confrontations are daft. He isn't wanted there so move on and play somewhere else. If he had actually cared about the outcome then he shouldn't have gone down the route of proceedings against the club etc.

I think the whole world seems to agree - EVEN if he is right (which im doubting given the lack of hard evidence), why would you keep going back to somewhere where you are disliked so much ? he keeps accross as very immature and petulant

Two sides who refuse to back down, but if either of them did it would all be forgotten about in a couple of weeks tops. Very silly.

You don't know golf clubs that well . Grudges can last a lifetime.

Watched a few of the videos while I had some time to waste.
They all seemed to contain groups of the world's least threatening or intimidating looking men repeatedly telling each other not to come any closer because they felt threatened or intimidated, while continually putting themselves in the same situation that they claimed was scaring them.
Bunch of idiots on both sides, based on the videos.
If I was related to or friends with any of them I'd be mortally embarrassed.
If I was a member of that club I'd be leaving.

I wouldnt back down if i was the club - do you think an employer would rehire someone that sued them? bridges well and truly burnt

There's a calculation around cost of legal fees v cost of payout. If the payout is cheaper and the case isn't 100% then they will definitely think about it.

Of course there is, and there clearly was a case. Would anyone be surprised that the people running a golf club would think rules don’t apply to them and they can do whatever they want? Especially after seeing some of them on the videos.
