I'm playing Boxing Day after 2 weeks off (and 2 days on the Christmas Spirit(s))!!

New Driver (head) and waterproof pants already packed - along with an Aussie Red, some gorgeous Sauterne and an untasted Rhone for Christmas Day!

I live right next to a Golf Course, 9 holes, so will be walking the dogs, and my XMAS pud belly, across it on XMAS day afternoon. Promise to Pooper Scoop too!

I love it when it snows but looks unlikely this year now, shame!

Funny enough although its next door I never play on it.

Sounds it. Is my nearest course (not a member), that is less than the winter warmer, how did you find it?
Am waiting on my pal as we usually try and meet up for a game, as he's been over my way last few times I suggested something over his way as I also have a Heathrow pickup to do that evening. A deal like that would be good.

That is a lot of golf!! I am here there and everywhere visiting family, but I am hoping to play between the 28th and 30th weather permitting, and then have the 2nd booked as well.

Would love to go out on the Boxing day, but have too many family commitments at the moment.

Safari on Saturday and on Tuesday there is a comp for £20 at a local club where there is an individual comp, a BB comp and a secret partner comp all in one.

Played today and buffered with 34 points - hooray. Flying out to the Maldives tomorrow and back late Monday, ready for another assault on Tuesday morning, then Thursday and Sunday and Tuesday and Friday and so on.

Its £55 normally but if you are signed up the visitors club through the website (literally provide and email) they sent a 20% deal in December.

All you have to do is quote you got the email (happy to forward on if anyone wants, just PM me your email).

Not limited to any course, one course is 2ball only every day but other than that nothing. My party only want to play 18 as they are driving up from portsmouth, so i am going to get there at the crack of dawn and go play 9 on the red course.

First round today and it was a shocker. Played woefully, course almost / probably unplayable and some very slow people in front of me!

Ditto, wouldn't even dare suggest it even in a roundabout way, hopefully if the rain can just hold off for a little while and the course stays open I might get to play in our roll up on Boxing Day morning, if it looks doubtful I'll be looking to play somewhere else hopefully.

I'm actually looking forward to a few days away from the course and probably even the range. Feeling a bit over golfed so it will be good to wait until I really want to get out and play. Comp on the 28th though so hoping to feel more enthused by then!
